Nik Wallenda will tackle yet another walk as a JEANRICHARD ambassador on November 2, 2014 in Chicago, while millions international as well as local spectators will follow the adrenaline-rushing event on site and on live TV, when Discovery Channel will air the walk LIVE in 224 countries. Wallenda, who was already wearing an iconic Terrascope timepiece during his Grand Canyon walk in June 2013 for the very first time, won the Emmy Award for Top TV Moments of the Year 2013 for that performance.

“We are very excited to see Nik Wallenda walking over the skyline of Chicago and are extremely proud he will be wearing the specially designed Terrascope timepiece for the first time on this occasion”, said Bruno Grande, Managing Director of JEANRICHARD. “The high-wire king is a true Philosopher of Life, who lives his life to the fullest. Like Wallenda, the new Terrascope created just for him will be of dynamic and vigorous nature that will fascinate JEANRICHARD aficionados and adventurers alike.”

Both pioneers of their respective industries, The Wallenda family and JEANRICHARD share many common values: The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has a “Philosophy of Life” that stands for living life to the fullest and having a passion for what you do. Partners and brand ambassadors – such as Nik Wallenda – accompany this journey by representing this unique vision. The Wallenda family has been in high wire art for seven generations and passed on their pioneering spirit throughout. Just like Daniel Jeanrichard revolutionized the Swiss Watch making industry and has influenced it tremendously through his apprenticeship system since the 17th century.

Besides the well-known attributes featured in a JEANRICHARD Terrascope, the special edition timepiece will reflect this journey and feature the character of Wallenda especially in the design of particular details. This new watch shall catapult any everyday adventurer onto the same level of intensity and thrill Wallenda experiences on his walks. “The dedication and focus I bring to my craft as a high wire artist, is the same that JEANRICHARD brings to the art of watchmaking. It's an incredible privilege to be working with JEANRICHARD as we share the same passion for excellence and Philosophy of Life"
