H. MOSER & CIE. HORLOGERIE IN TIME WITH CHINA

H. MOSER & CIE. HORLOGERIE IN TIME WITH CHINA

In 1828, Swiss watchmaker Heinrich Moser founded the company H. Moser & Cie. in St. Petersburg, Russia. Success was built quickly for the young man: H. Moser & Cie. became synonymous with quality, elegance and, above all, ingenious manufactured watches.

Today the company connects with this entrepreneurial and visionary spirit, initiated by Heinrich Moser with watches sold across the Russian Empire and along the Silk Road into Central Asia, Persia and China. On July 9th, 2015, H. Moser & Cie. celebrated the official launch of the watch brand in Beijing, with a Chinese audience of journalists and exceptional customers.

In an atmosphere of history and tradition, H. Moser & Cie. received guests in the old courtyard of the Waldorf Hotel in Beijing for an evening of fine watchmaking. This is the first event of its kind for the Manufacture, which chose to speak directly to key partners in this high-potential market, thereby reigniting the link established in the nineteenth century.

For this immersion into the world of H. Moser & Cie., the company introduced its new 2015 collection to guests, who discovered mechanical watches equipped with highly complicated, but ingenious manufacture calibers that were easy to use and adjust. Among the exceptional watches on display, the sublime Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Funky Blue drew attention through the ingenuity of its system for displaying the month, the movement that was developed, produced and assembled in-house, and finally the beauty of its sky-blue fumé dial, which lends a provocative reinterpretation of the company’s well-known classic watch, together with the robust, hand-crafted strap in beige kudu leather.

During the evening, each guest was invited to get to know the company and its values: exclusivity, entrepreneurial heritage, independence and innovation with a provocative touch of daring that makes all the difference. A successful launch and orbit initiated into the Chinese world for H. Moser & Cie.
