HAUTLENCE’s two new elegant and sporty chronographs are now available at the brand’s recently inaugurated HAUTLOUNGE in Jakarta and points of sale around the world. Presented at Baselworld 2015, the INVICTUS 01 and 03 perfectly embody the invincible ‘gentlemen rebels’ spirit that characterises the HAUTLENCE man.

The INVICTUS 01 and 03 are powered by the same skeletonised chronograph movement as the INVICTUS Morphos, the brand’s first chronograph designed in collaboration with its dynamic ambassador, ex-footballer Eric Cantona. The bezel stands out in contrast with the stylish black titanium case and comes in a choice of two different materials - glowing 18-carat red gold (INVICTUS 01) or sophisticated black PVD-coated steel (INVICTUS 03). Both versions are entirely in tune with the brand DNA, featuring complex multi-level dial constructions that ensure excellent readability while bringing immense depth to the design. The three-dimensional overall effect is further enhanced by HAUTLENCE’s emblematic honeycomb motif adorning the dial base in gold.

The INVICTUS 03’s aluminium case middle and horns contrast beautifully with the elegant black PVD-coated steel bezel, push-buttons and screws. A sapphire crystal intermediate dial with powdered silver-toned print completes the design and is offset by hour and minute hands coated with orange Super-LumiNova®. The more luxurious INVICTUS 01 features push-buttons, screws and a crown crafted out of red gold, as well as matching 5N red-gold plated details on the dial. The INVICTUS 03 comes with a black hornback crocodile leather strap with orange topstitching and a steel clasp, while the INVICTUS 01 is fitted with an upscale Louisiana alligator rubberised leather strap paired with a folding clasp with polished red gold plate.

HAUTLENCE’s latest demonstration of its creative approach to watchmaking has resulted in two exceptional timepieces that will appeal to connoisseurs who appreciate fine watchmaking and mechanical works of art. Personifying the spirit of the exclusive HAUTLENCE Gentlemen Rebels Club, the chronographs are aptly named INVICTUS - meaning unbeatable and invincible.

A brand-new chapter in HAUTLENCE history 
 
Ever since its foundation in 2004, HAUTLENCE has been dedicated to bringing a new dynamic into the art of watchmaking, thus gaining the recognition of watch collectors and connoisseurs the world over. The brand has a portfolio of four calibres designed and manufactured in-house and relies on external partners for the movements of certain collections. HAUTLENCE launched the HL calibre in 2005, followed in 2009 by the HLQ calibre, with the brand’s third calibre, the HLC, hot on its heels in 2010. The following year saw the introduction of the high-flying HL2.0 calibre in a variety of different versions. Since 2012, HAUTLENCE has enjoyed the support of MELB Holding, which has made its experience and network accessible to the brand with the aim of developing effective synergies between HAUTLENCE and the group as a whole. 
 
Like its name, an anagram of the brand’s hometown of Neuchâtel, HAUTLENCE is renowned for turning things upside down. Following this mindset, the brand has challenged the boundaries of traditional watchmaking designs by drawing on its architecturally-inspired roots and uniting them with innovative mechanical solutions borrowed from other industrial worlds.
