Light, non‐allergenic, harder than titanium and extremely corrosion‐resistant, ZaliumTM is a true revolutionary material that bears the signature of innovation and sets the performance bar very high. Its impressive chemical properties are matched by its rarity: zirconium is far scarcer than titanium and its exceptional hardness makes it very hard to machine. Visual depth, fine mechanics, and technical sophistication: the Ocean Sport™ Chronograph offers a total immersion experience plunging observers into the very heart of time technology. The 44 mm ZaliumTM case frames an open-worked three-dimensional smoked blue sapphire dial, with a blue minute subdial and a matt varnished blue flange that lends added depth to the time functions.
The intricate workings of the black DLC treated automatic movement with a skeletonized chronograph module are clearly visible beneath the Super Luminova enhanced hands, distinctly pointing to the hours and minutes marked on the flange, and ensuring a perfect legibility of the time. A skeletonized date disk turns steadily in order to clearly display the date at 12 o’clock, inviting the gaze to boldly explore the intricate gearwheels of time itself.
The satin finish lugs, the push buttons, and the beveled triple arches at 3 o’clock have also been revisited in this Ocean SportTM Chronograph model. The rotating bezel, comprised of two parts, features a satin finish ZaliumTM and ZaliumTM DCL coated three-dimensional notched ring, enhancing the powerful, contemporary personality of the timepiece.
