Summer Rewind: What To Expect At This Weekend’s Indy 500

Watchonista is no stranger to The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

This weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana, IndyCar will run the 105th edition of the Indianapolis 500. Thirty-three drivers from all walks of life are slated to test their mettle in the 200-lap race around the iconic 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval.

TAG Heuer has been the official timekeeper and scorer of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) since 2004. The brand can be found atop the emblematic IMS pagoda and at the start/finish line, where drivers will pass over the infamous “yard of bricks.”

Watchonista has covered the race extensively, including in-depth coverage during the 102nd running of the Indy 500. We’ve also taken a detailed look at the history of the race and its connection to timekeeping. Every year, TAG Heuer releases limited edition Indy 500 timepieces, which delight fans and IndyCar diehards. Heck, we’ve even interviewed actor and former TAG Heuer ambassador Chris Hemsworth trackside!

How To Watch
