For this model CVSTOS has been inspired by the world of yachting, the refinement of the Mediterra nean, epitomised by the glamorous lifestyle, the fast and sleek open yachts, usually designed for short getaways and cruises in the Med, linking the various islands and archipelagos, or prestigious ports such as Porto Cervo, Porto Fino, Monaco, St. Tropez, Nice and Cannes.

Based on this concept and sculpted by this idea, the sleek and glamorous CHALLENGE SEA-LINER gives rise to a new standard in aesthetics and sportiness, thus giving this new model elegance with incomparable style.

It therefore follows that the CHALLENGE SEALINER has inherited the aesthetic and technical features of the now famous «TOURBILLON-S YACHTINGCLUB» model, which is characterized by the touch of creativity and fundamental novelty always guaranteed by CVSTOS. This time CVSTOS sets the same objectives by providing this new model with its well-known balance of elegance and sportiness that is second to none.

The transparency of the sapphire crystal dial and the open bottom gives a remarkable view of the stunning image of this openwork movement. On the edges of the watchcase, four openings provide a window into the heart of this mechanism, captivating your imagination as you discover the beautiful arrangement of all the movement’s components. With a fresh perspective that is both spectacular and unexpected, this mechanism has been designed with a look directly inspired by the yachting world.

The result is an acquired elegance, brought to life by the solutions and technologies perfected for the pioneering «JET-LINER» project.

This is how more than 60 parts of the CVSTOS CVS 350 movement of the CHALLENGE SEA-LINER have been individually customized, redesigned and ornamented with openwork, and, so as not to compromise the rigidity and mechanical functions of the movement, a bridge to strengthen the movement has been developed, with the same refinement that characterises the movement, as well as beautiful teak wood marquetry. The exclusive «CHALLENGE SEA-LINER AUTOMATIC» calibre is efficient and reflects the spirit of consistency of the brand since it was first created in 2005. Of unparalleled technical sophistication, this automatic movement offers a 42-hour power reserve. Efficient winding is provided by an oscillating mass consisting of two technical materials such as grade 5 Titanium & THUNGSTEN88®.

This brand-specific architecture, composed of two elements (tungsten mass segment + titanium mass arm) eliminates any vibration due to undistributed mass. This configuration thus guarantees better rotational acceleration, and therefore optimised winding. Carved in 5N gold, steel or blue PVD-treated steel, the barrel-shaped case is beautifully enhanced through its pure lines and volumes. This welldesigned architecture, which stands out from all else, contributes to the aesthetic differentiation of CVSTOS in the closed circle of Haute Horlogerie.

Water resistant to 100 metres, the CHALLENGE SEA-LINER is worn on a blue or white rubber strap that closes using a double push clasp. However, other combinations are also possible, such as fine coloured alligator leather lined with ALCANTARA® with the specific look dedicated to this model, or for the purists, the classic configuration is still an option.
