Imagine the color of your wristwatch changes spectacularly from green to blue depending on the light. The new Open Gear Paraiba makes this fantasy come true!

The newest addition to the Chronoswiss Open Gear range, called "Paraiba" achieves a unique color changing effect. From soft turquoise and petrol blue to jungle green and deep purple, the dial, which is actually part of the movement, shines like a gemstone. The unique color changes are the result of tireless experiments in a field in which Chronoswiss is a leader: CVD coatings on hand-guilloched dials.

Chronoswiss combines this visionary technology with the traditional craft of Guilloché, creating a unique combination that watchmakers in Lucerne refer to only as "Modern Mechanical." A green CVD coating is also found on the skeletonized rotor, a Chronoswiss classic that is equally reminiscent of the Brazilian gemstone in this color and visibly encircles the complicated mechanics through the sapphire crystal caseback.
