29th St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow
Polo on the snow: once again Cartier wins the Maillet d’Or trophy in St. Moritz.
On the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz in the heart of the Engadine valley, Cartier has won the 29th St Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow.
This four-day competition saw the four teams, supported by Cartier, BMW, Ralph Lauren and Sal Oppenheim respectively, go head to head in front of thousands of polo fans.
Beneath an azure sky, Cartier and BMW – the two favourites to win the tournament – battled it out right to the last minute for the Maillet d’Or, the Cartier trophy so highly coveted by polo players from all over the world.
Bringing together passion, tradition and elegance, this competition will have once again inscribed Cartier’s name in polo history as the Maison won the tournament with a final score of 5-4. A return to the competition is already planned for next year.
