A new Breguet ephemeral showcase inaugurated in London
In consequence of the refurbishment and expansion of its London boutique, Breguet opened an ephemeral showcase at the luxury retailer Asprey.
The well-known watchmaking House invited clients and friends to discover the new decor that welcomes its exceptional pieces until mid-March 2014.
The evening spotlighted some of the most stunning Breguet creations, which did not fail to attract the guests. Among them, the glittering Crazy Flower watch, wedding the pure beauty of diamonds to the technical daring of a mobile setting, aroused the ladies’ enthusiasm. Like a precious flower, its case is adorned with baguette-cut diamonds that sway gracefully in response to the movement of the wrist.
As for men, they have been fascinated by the Classique “Grande Complication” Tourbillon Messidor. Driven by a handwound movement, this timepiece enhances the magic of the aerial tourbillon, like weightless, thanks to the effect of the transparency.
Each Breguet piece is carefully worked by artisans of the Manufacture. To delve the guests a little more into the universe of the brand, a master engraver came especially from Switzerland. He offered to the invitees unique engraving demonstrations on dial, oscillating weight and movement, revealing a savoir-faire dating back over 200 years.
