Audemars Piguet Expands Their Cultural Outreach By Partnering With Montreux Jazz Festival
Audemars Piguet is one of those firms that actively participate in the life of the community, both locally and internationally, through ever growing support to the worlds of Art, Sport and Culture.
Already very present in the fields of Art with Art Basel, and Sports with its team of ambassadors of the AP Golf family, the Manufacture from Le Brassus announces its new partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival starting at the beginning of 2019.
Born from a common passion for music, this collaboration does not date back from yesterday. It started in 2010 with the Montreux Jazz Digital Project side by side with the Claude Nobs Foundation and the EPFL (Federal Polytechnics Schools of Lausanne). This project had a worldwide magnitude as it enabled the digitalisation, restoration and preservation of the Festival’s entire sound archives, acknowledged by UNESCO as part of its “Memory of the World.”. In so doing, more than 5,000 hours of concert recordings have been compiled.
Music is strongly among the chosen vectors the brand owns to communicate the universality of the values that bond the great Audemars Piguet family. Values of shared emotions, of support of tomorrow’s talents and of unconditional love of Haute Horology.
It is naturally that this next phase opens as Global Partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival starting next year.
