A Rosier Future: Introducing Zenith’s Chronomaster Original Pink

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 20 percent of sales of this special edition, just announced today, will go to the Susan G. Komen association.

We’re feeling good about Zenith’s latest Chronomaster Original Pink. With its stand-out, sunray-finished dial, this timepiece is a conversation starter. Which is perfect, because it’s meant to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Specifically, the Original Pink is designed to support Susan G. Komen, an organization that provides patient navigation, advocacy and other resources for breast cancer patients. And while it’s not technically a limited edition, it will only be available during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. And again, 20 percent of sales proceeds will directly benefit the organization.

Good Partners

Supporting Susan G. Komen will make you feel good. But the Chronomaster Original Pink will make you look good, too. Based on the instant-classic, chronograph collection launched last year, this retro-inspired watch has a unisex 38mm steel case. It is also powered with the most recent version of the El Primero automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre with 1/10th of a second measurement. But what makes it truly unique is the stunning metallic pink dial.

It’s a dramatic reimagining of the Chronomaster display, but a quite attractive one to be sure. The layout is still the same but the monochromatic color scheme contrasted with the shiny, steely case creates a whole new way of looking at this timepiece. It’s just as legible and recognizable, but the pink palette provides a new point of view.

And finding fresh ways of thinking about cancer is crucial for providing better care. Heck, looking at anything from another perspectives is always a good thing.

In a press release announcing Zenith’s support for the foundation, CEO Julien Tornare says: “Supporting the Susan G. Komen foundation, with its rapport and incredible impact, is a partnership of great significance for Zenith. The Chronomaster Original Pink will help fund impactful research and support for patients undergoing treatment, a cause we are proud and eager to be a part of over the coming years.”

In The Pink

One of Susan G. Komen’s goals is to help patients all around the world live better, longer lives.

As an organization, Zenith has long been committed to shining a light on women’s accomplishments with its DREAMHERS initiative. Through events all over the world, the brand promotes the work of relatable women who have each found their own way to reach their star. Beyond this special edition timepiece, Zenith will continue to build a sense of community in partnership with Susan G. Komen.

On Sunday, October 2, for example, Zenith will be the official timekeeper of the 2022 Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure. Zenith will also be hosting representatives from Susan G. Komen at DREAMHERS events around the world.

Pricing & Availability

Again, this special edition Chronomaster Original Pink is not a limited edition in the traditional numbered sense but will only be available only during the annual international Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign from October 1 to October 31. And it is exclusive to Zenith’s physical and online boutiques around the world, priced at CHF 9,900. Learn more on Zenith’s website.
