COUTURE Conversations: A Collection Of Insights From The Luxury Trade Show
What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas. Watchonista’s Josh Shanks sat down with industry leaders to bring you deeper insight into the state of the watch industry.
Last month, we attended COUTURE 2021, the luxury watch and jewelry event in Las Vegas. For the first time in almost two years, the North American watch community came together to introduce new watches and share their passion for timepieces.
Meanwhile, over at Watchonista’s Villa, we invited prominent players to sit down and divulge their insights on the state of the union of watchmaking, retail, and collecting. These chats were too good to keep to ourselves, so we brought you videos of our favorite conversations.
Tirath Kamdar – General Manager Luxury at eBay
Two of the biggest shifts in luxury have come through online shopping and the resale market. eBay has been at the vanguard of both of these movements since its inception. We talked to General Manager Luxury at eBay Tirath Kamdar about the future of making secure and authentic luxury watch purchases.
Caroline Kueffer – Marketing Director, NORQAIN
NORQAIN is a new, independent company, which means they are bringing a fresh approach to luxury with a message that resonates with collectors and society at large. Watch to discover how the brand’s latest launches are also committed to communities in Nepal.
V.J. Geronimo – CEO Oris North America
Storytelling is an important part of Oris’s history. The brand has launched several innovative variations on favorite designs and interesting partnerships with conservation groups this year. The goal is to ensure that we incorporate sustainable manufacturing practices to ensure a bright future for watches.
