Pedals, Passion, and Pelagos: Fabian Cancellara Takes on New York City with Tudor
Tudor and its Pro Cycling team take a lucky few on a memorable two-wheeled tour.

Tudor recently organized an unforgettable bicycle ride for a lucky few around New York City in collaboration with its Tudor Pro Cycling team, led by brand ambassador and former Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist Fabian Cancellara. Starting from the watch brand’s flagship store in the vibrant Meatpacking District, the event was a joyful fusion of cycling prowess and luxury watchmaking.
Setting the Stage
The day began with press, retailers, and their guests, gathering at the Tudor boutique to enjoy a light breakfast amidst a backdrop of the Swiss watch brand’s exceptional timepieces.
Each cyclist was then presented with a unique Tudor cycling kit, designed with meticulous attention to detail and featuring the brand's iconic logo. This gift would not only help to commemorate the event for those attending, but it also signaled Tudor's commitment to the world of cycling – last year the watchmaker became sponsor of Switzerland's first professional cycling team since 2016.
Following breakfast, former four-time world time trial champion Cancellara participated in a captivating Q&A session with Tudor manager Cole Pennington, with the Swiss cyclist sharing fascinating insights into his illustrious career and passion for the sport.
Wheels in Motion
The groups then embarked on their journey, pedaling their way up the scenic West Side Greenway. Enthusiasm filled the air as riders arrived at the iconic George Washington Bridge, stopping briefly to capture the moment at the picturesque red lighthouse underneath. The breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the majestic bridge provided an awe-inspiring backdrop for the cyclists.
Pedaling Through Paradise
Continuing their adventure, the groups traversed through the heart of Central Park. Its lush greenery, meandering paths, and famous landmarks formed a glorious setting, with the city’s never-ending buzz audible in the distance. This route through Central Park offered participants a unique opportunity to appreciate the harmonious blend of nature and urbanity that defines this world city.
