Available only in twenty-five pieces, this streamlined, manful watch was designed in collaboration with Cortina and will be exclusively sold in their boutiques for the occasion of the exciting grand prix in Singapore. The Singapore Grand Prix is known as the only grand prix that takes place at night in the midst of the densely populated megalopolis, which makes it a perfect opportunity to launch this unique piece.

Black, red and many spectaculars

It's a high-profile, high-risk event, a spectacle tracked by VIPs and media worldwide. Adrenaline rises, tension builds up as concentrated gasoline fumes and fine engine roars. All the conditions are set and right for the night of September 19, 2014, when this octagonal, iconic urban timepiece will be given a deserving welcome on this seventh edition of the night race.  The black carbon and grade 5 titanium bodywork and ceramic pushers of the C1 NightRacer mirror the nocturnal aspect of the event. These components support the tension emerging from the aesthetics that fires up with the flaming red highlights that stretch all the way to the ends of the strap.

The case has a diameter of 47 millimeters. The eight blocks put together recall the very vigorous character of the first version of the C1 from 2007, which was more disruptive. But the tone, revealed in 2014 at Baselworld, is more up-to-date. It serves as a hyper-secure receptacle, be that with regard to water resistance (20 atm), or the forceful luminescence produced by Luminova, or the souped-up mechanical, automatic engine, the Caliber A07.211 chronograph. The wheelwork packed at the bottom can be seen through the anti-reflective sapphire crystal.  Record performance! Forty-eight hours power reserve. 28,800 vph. As for the ornamentation, it's quite something. It includes the famous côtes de Genève motif, the ultimate in finishing, or the originality of a snailed bevel rotor.

Concord in the race

This Singaporean watch symbol is an incarnation of its ancestral line, made up of subtle modifications applied to the first model, the C1, dating to 2007, with a diameter of 44 millimeters and whose height was 16.70 millimeters. C1 is a resolutely sportive model, one that was developed and signaled the brand's adventure in the field of haute horlogerie. Concord had come a long way. Since its founding in 1908, the brand had produced millions of watches with a strategy based on the kind of accessibility made possible by over 600 references.
