Latin Lover: Bulova’s Latest Latin GRAMMY Special Edition Timepiece Tops the Charts
An elegant rose-gold-tinted automatic timepiece marks the event’s 25th anniversary.

The Latin Grammys is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, so Bulova and The Latin Recording Academy teamed up to create a special edition watch to commemorate the milestone.
The big birthday bash will shake up Miami on November 14th with a star-studded lineup that includes David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, Luis Fonsi, and Juan Luis Guerra, among others.
The Official Timepiece
Since 2016, Bulova has been the official timepiece of the Latin Grammys. Each year, the New York-based watch brand has launched a special edition intended to symbolize the rich cultural heritage and artistic expression of Latin music.
This year’s addition to the lineup is the Latin GRAMMY Automatic with a 38mm rose-gold-tone stainless steel case. The warm case and bezel are the perfect contrast to the silver-white dial, which is punctuated by a black-gray small seconds sub-dial between 4 and 6 o’clock, a silver 24-hour time sub-dial and 9 o’clock, rose-gold-colored accents, and luminous hands and hour indices.
The piece is powered by a 21-jewel automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve that takes center stage through an open-heart aperture between 6 and 8 o’clock. The calibre is also visible through an exhibition caseback, which features a glass insert bearing the Latin Grammy’s 25th-anniversary emblem with the iconic gramophone and Bulova’s signature tuning fork.
To top it all off, a complementary black silicone strap with a deployant clasp comfortably hugs the wrist.
Latin Influences
As previously mentioned, this special edition watch is more than just a stylish accessory; it is designed to represent the rich cultural heritage and artistic expression found in Latin music.
In that spirit, the main dial and subsidiary seconds dial are lined with grooves to evoke a guiro. This handheld percussion instrument is carved with ridges on the exterior that the player scrapes with a stick to produce a ratchet sound. As a complement, the watch’s hour markers are also shaped like guiro scrapers.
These subtle aesthetic nods to a popular Latin instrument channel the spirit of the culture’s music and pay tribute to the sounds, styles, and stories that draw music lovers from around the globe.

Moreover, in a show of support for the emerging young talents in the Latin music sphere, Bulova will award the watch to first-time nominees in the Best New Artist category in recognition of their hard work and promising future in the music industry.
