[Baselworld 2012] Day 4: the largest sum of horologic IQ ever gathered

Nivrel is a surprise, and a pleasant one. It seems to me that this "small" German brand proposes watches that really satisfy the watch lovers' expectations.
For example, this stainless steel 5-minute repeater, for 4000€.

In another collection, this superb blue Dragon:

In a really different range of prices, a unique watch made by Kari Voutilainen, a large tourbillon whose creation started in 1996.

Elonor & Laurent Picciotto in the Palace:

Then, a visit at Technotime to see a remarkable watch created for a Parisian jeweler; only the snow is missing.

One never talks about Arnold & Sons. It is not very nice. The Swiss-English brand just underwent a renewal, following the buyout of Lajoux-Perret by Citizen.
The Lajoux-Perret superb complications get a new fitting, and especially this astronomical hour display:

Next, one of the most significant parties of Basel takes place; not because it is organized by a prestigious brand nor because of the abundance of liquors.
But because this party, organized by Franck Geelen from Monochrome, brings together the cream of the crop of independent watchmaking and of the horologic web.
Hence, the largest sum of horologic IQ ever gathered can be seen in a modest brasserie.
Here, one can meet Ernie Romers and William Massena from Timezone, Max Busser, Alessandro Zanetta from  De Béthune, Lionel Ladoire, the Gronenfeld Brothers, and of course the Watchonista team.
