THE AUTHORS

After superior Human Resources Studies, Emmanuel Lacroix started his career in the National Civil Service. His love for beautiful things attratcted him to traditional, mechanical horology; he soon converted his friend Thierry Gasquez (superior legal and literature studies).

They shared this common passion and decided to create Passion Horlogère in 2009, an association aiming at promoting horology thanks to a team of other watch fans.

Since then, their involvement has taken on a variety of forms : watch manufactures visit, conferences involving influencial actors of the market, development of the Passion Horlogère Website ; they also regularly write articles in several magazines…

Emmanuel and Thierry were more than happy to share their knowledge with well-established members of the Horological market and members of Passion Horlogère, in order to be provide this guide to the fabulous world of watchmaking.
