Anonimo on board the SFS II alongside Lionel Péan

After announcing a return to sailing, Anonimo has chosen Marseille and its legendary Old Port as the setting for its guest panel of European journalists to experience a personal sporting adventure on the open seas. It also provided the perfect opportunity to unveil the new NAUTILO Sailing Edition watch and meet Lionel Péan and the SFS Team on the eve of the 64th annual Giraglia, one of the most famous Mediterranean regattas.

In a return to the brand's marine roots, guests assembled in a panoramic restaurant overlooking Marseille's Old Port, joined by sports ambassador Lionel Péan, where they were able to discover the new NAUTILO Sailing Edition. This new, dual-tone model, which matches the yacht's red and black livery, is equipped with a black tinted aluminium bezel, a steel cushion casing and DLC. Visually, ANONIMO watches convey a sense of adventure. The next day, the guests were able to put this attribute to the test on board the SFS II.

On the morning of 9th June, whilst the team was preparing for the weekend's Giraglia regatta, Lionel Péan took out the guests who had come specially from every corner of Europe. Under a beautiful summer sun, the SFS II left the spire of Notre Dame de la Garde behind her as she cut through the Mediterranean waves. Over the course of the day, all of the guests, supported by the outstanding on-board team, were able to experience the power of this 70-foot monohull for themselves. They even took turns at the helm, raising the sails and turning the various winches.

Passion, emotion, team spirit and technique were the watchwords on the return leg as Lionel and his team brought the day crew safely back to port. It is now time to make the final preparations for the yacht's next journey this evening, as it leaves Marseille for an overnight pre-race to Saint-Tropez. With Lionel sporting the Nautilo on his wrist, every hour will count in the coming days.
