The Pulse 60 by Dominique Renaud challenges conventional watchmaking by exploring an unprecedented mechanical frequency of just 1 Hz, equivalent to 60 oscillations per minute. Inspired by the rhythm of a resting human heart, this innovative concept reimagines the relationship between the balance wheel and escapement.

Its completely redesigned balance wheel, plate and escape pin assembly enables an amplitude exceeding 360° without rebattement, allowing the oscillator to operate more freely and naturally.

By reducing impulses and mechanical disturbances, the Pulse 60 aims to enhance chronometric stability and redefine precision through a radically different approach to mechanical timekeeping.
