Maestro GC39 Mitoraj

For TimeForArt 2026, Gerald Charles enters the world of contemporary art for the first time with the unique Maestro GC39 Mitoraj. Inspired by Igor Mitoraj’s Luci di Nara, the piece transforms the sculptor’s fragmented aesthetic into a miniature three-dimensional sculpture set within the watch’s architectural dial.

The asymmetrical jumping-hour guichet leaves the dial open for Mitoraj’s sculptural expression, framed by a precisely machined guilloché surface and warm 4N PVD details. Beneath it, the automatic GCA3900 calibre delivers 50 hours of power reserve.

Housed in a polished Grade 5 titanium 42 mm case, this Pièce Unique unites artistic expression with serious horological architecture—created not simply to place art on a watch, but to make both disciplines become one.
