Fun With Fonts: Typography’s New Maximalism
L’Impétrant
The L’Impétrant Titanium by Stéphane Pierre celebrates movement as the ultimate expression of life, transforming timekeeping into a captivating mechanical performance. Its two long retrograde hands sweep across ceramic dials before simultaneously returning to their starting points every twelve hours.
At its centre, an elevated 11.5 mm balance wheel beats visibly on the dial side, revealing the watch’s mechanical heart. The entirely in-house hand-wound calibre offers a 70-hour power reserve, complemented by a distinctive vertical cone indicator and a Maltese cross stopwork system.
Housed in a refined 39 mm Grade 23 titanium case, L’Impétrant combines technical ingenuity, lightness and contemporary elegance, marking a significant milestone in Stéphane Pierre’s independent watchmaking journey.
