Roger Dubuis concludes its Merlin trilogy with Excalibur The Metamorph Merlin, a limited-edition creation inspired by the legendary wizard’s extraordinary power of transformation. Drawing on the symbolism of the mythical white stag, the timepiece turns Arthurian mythology into an expressive work of Haute Horlogerie.
Its deep green architectural dial is composed of 57 individually crafted blocks in glass, pink gold and Crystalium, creating a layered forest-like landscape of shifting depth and light.
Framing the scene, 12 hand-finished pink gold knights surround the dial, while an entirely hand-engraved case brings Merlin’s legend to life.
