Fun With Fonts: Typography’s New Maximalism
Établisseurs Nomade
Audemars Piguet’s Établisseur Nomade celebrates the Maison’s heritage of collaboration and traditional craftsmanship through the Atelier des Établisseurs, a project inspired by the historic établissage system. Combining avant-garde design with rare artisanal skills, this exceptional creation reimagines the watch as a versatile object of horological artistry.
Crafted in faceted titanium, black onyx, and meteorite, the timepiece transforms effortlessly between a closed object, an open watch, and a desk clock. Its sculptural architecture showcases the delicate expertise of lapidaries and the beauty of carefully selected natural materials.
At its heart, the hand-skeletonised Calibre 7501 reveals intricate bridges that double as hour markers, honouring decades of preserved watchmaking expertise. The Établisseur Nomade is a striking expression of ingenuity, craftsmanship, and timeless creativity.
