Citizen Eco-Drive One

The Eco-Drive One is the thinnest, analog, light-powered watch in the world. This new addition to the collection features a blue dial with Duratect Alpha-coated steel for lightweight durability—and five times the hardness of stainless steel. Powered by the Eco-Drive Calibre 8826, and sporting ultra-thin 39mm cases just 2.98mm thick, sapphire crystals with “Clarity” coating, 3 bar of water resistance, 12 months of running time on a full charge with an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. This collection has since come to define the marriage of advanced, light-powered movement technology and ultrathin watchmaking in the 21st century. When paired to a 0.15mm synthetic sapphire dial and crystal, with a brand-new, rechargeable 3.7V power cell from Maxell, the result was a hand-assembled wonder the likes of which the watch world had never before seen.
