Baume & Mercier – Main Sponsor of the 62nd “TaorminaFilmFest”

Baume & Mercier was the main partner of the 62nd “TaorminaFilmFest”, which took place from 11 to 18 June in the magical setting of the Greek Theatre in Taormina, Italy. Richard Gere was the Honorary president.

Creation, innovation and passion are at the heart of Baume & Mercier’s identity. This year, the Geneva-based watch brand decided to pay tribute to the “TaorminaFilmFest” with a limited-edition Clifton timepiece, which has been presented to the winner of the “Clifton Taormina Award”.

Alain Zimmermann, CEO of Baume & Mercier, presented an award to six international figures: Harvey Keitel, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Hall, Ambra Angiolini, Claudio Santamaria e Alessandro Preziosi. Male actors received the “Clifton Taormina Award” watch, our classical round range, while the actresses received the “Promesse Taormina Award” from the Promesse collection, our last feminine launch.
