Official description

Geneva has a rich history of watchmaking dating back to the 16th century. Overlooked by snow-capped mountains and divided by the crystal-clear waters of Lac Léman, the city’s beautiful landscape has influenced the design of RAYMOND WEIL watches over the years. Now, with the advent of the new freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition, RAYMOND WEIL pays tribute to Geneva, the city where the brand was founded and continues to call home.

Since its inception in 1976, RAYMOND WEIL has always been proud to call Geneva it’s home. Now, the Maison celebrates its close ties with the city by releasing a new version of its popular freelancer diver model. The RAYMOND WEIL freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition pays tribute to Lake Geneva, widely known as ‘Lac Léman’, the most recognisable landmark of the city.

At the heart of the new freelancer diver watch sits the Calibre RW4200, a Swiss automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. The model is water resistant to 310m, the depth of Lac Léman. Indeed, it is this latter figure which also inspired RAYMOND WEIL to limit production of this divers’ watch to just 310 pieces.
