The Multifort Powerwind pays a stylish tribute to Mido's expertise. Mido's Powerwind movement was first produced in 1954 and represented a revolution in reliability and accuracy. In fact, its automatic portion only required seven components – instead of 16! The Swiss watchmaker has taken a similar approach to today's Multifort Powerwind by fitting it with the excellent Calibre 80, which offers formidable accuracy thanks to its Nivachron™ balance-spring and power reserve of up to 80 hours. The composition of the Multifort Powerwind includes several nods to Mido's historic designs. The dial, which features the brand's vintage logo, has a deep blue sunray finish that contrasts with the gleaming hands and indexes and large yellow numerals. It remains completely readable by day and by night thanks to its Super-LumiNova® treatment. This sporty and elegant timepiece harks back to a time when it was second nature to be stylish at all times.
