Wrist Art: The Results of the TimeForArt Charity Auction
The arts-benefitting charity auction continues to grow into an ever-more important timepiece event, and Watchonista has the results!

A joint venture between the Philips auction house and the Swiss Institute, the TimeForArt auction completed its sophomore run in New York City over the weekend. And by all reports, the inventive auction in New York City was a resounding success, raising oodles of funds for the Swiss Institute, which fosters and supports emerging global artists and provides local arts programming from its tony East Village space.
All told, $1,179,449 was raised to benefit the institute and its program.
After the hammers fell, one of the highlight results was the Furlan Marri Disco Stromatolite (Unique Piece for TimeForArt 2024) lot, which went for $20,320, well above its high-estimate price ($3,000 - 6,000).
But the highest auction price prize goes to the Chanel BOY•FRIEND, which fetched $222,250 to aid the institute. The Echos of this Moment from Biver, which sold for $165,100, was another standout moment.
