Roland Iten appoints new management positions

Roland Iten is pleased to announce that Etienne Hamoir has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Pascal Blanc has been appointed as Director of Manufacturing for ROLAND ITEN MECHANICAL LUXURY SA, as from September 1st, 2013.

Etienne has over 20 years experience in finance, audit and advisory for local and international companies in Switzerland. He will oversee RIML's expansion and has particular expertise in luxury goods having worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers on The Richemont Group, The Swatch Group, Franck Muller and Audemar Piguet accounts among others. He is skilled in merger and acquisition activities and in fund raising operations for small businesses, start-up and restructuring entities.

Pascal Blanc possesses an impressive 25+ years experience in watch and jewellery manufacture in Switzerland. Previously, Pascal was Manufacturing Manager at Harry Winston and before that he was Technical Director at AS LINE, where he worked with Roland on the development and manufacture of the RCD81 Credit Card Case and the RC81 Cufflinks.

Pascal's first role at ROLAND ITEN will be to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, starting with the implementation of full-scale engineering and prototyping, followed by finishing and assembly and selected in-house production.

In parallel, Pascal will apply his considerable knowledge and expertise to work with ROLAND ITEN's existing suppliers to help streamline product development and manufacturing.
