Since the brand’s founding in 1910, CHANEL has created many icons that all became references to a way of life and a timeless style. The power of this emblem of luxury is to be able to reinvent itself endlessly by playing with its own codes in all the sectors it touches. To exemplify this, today we’re sharing with you two new videos shot at Le Ritz in Paris.

While watchmaking has been present within the brand for more than 30 years, its continuous evolution is an example of the capacity CHANEL has. Reinterpreting the symbols dear to Gabrielle CHANEL with panache and playfulness, the CODE COCO line - introduced in stainless steel last year at the Paris Fashion Week - has already created a stir among jewelry-watch lovers.

About the CHANEL CODE COCO collection

The iconic 2.55 bag clasp, created in 1955, and the distinctive quilted texture were immediately recognizable. The timelessness and elegance of CHANEL are embodied in this line. The CODE COCO combines marvelously the skin-like suppleness of a fluid bracelet, the softness of a cozy palace mattress and the unique elegance of diamond.

After the successful launch in Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon, the new muses of the Parisian House come to play in another living space of the creator, the Ritz, which she evoked as ‘’my house’’. In these videos where the CHANEL spirit floats, Alice Dellal, Soo Joo Park, Nozomi Iijima, and Alma Jodorowsky incarnate the CHANEL way of life: refined elegance, asserted character, humor, and buoyancy. A concentration of the brand’s philosophy.

In the video, you’ll see a new CODE COCO model dressed in black ceramic. Between watches and jewelry, no need to choose. Time can be hidden by a simple pivot of the 2.55 clasp to focus on the jewelry bracelet. Or it can be revealed in a perfect rectangular balance sublimated by the diamond in its black dial in its upper part. This little diamond which Mademoiselle CHANEL loved because ‘’it is the highest value in the smallest volume’’, as she liked to emphasize. This latest edition materializes the CHANEL values beautifully illustrated in these black & white movies of timeless charm.
