We love Milan! So, as the red carpet is being prepared for the first-ever Milano Watch Week, running from October 4-6, 2024, we couldn’t help but notice that the city – already a powerhouse of fashion, design, and finance – is positively buzzing over this bold new celebration of watchmaking.
While events like Dubai Watch Week and Geneva Watch Days have cemented their status in the horology world, Milano Watch Week aims to carve out its own space, offering far more than just watches.
To that end, this inaugural edition of Milano Watch Week will focus on independent watchmaking by crafting experience that fuses haute horlogerie with the very essence of Italian culture.
After all, who doesn’t have a soft spot for all things Italian?
The Details
Set to take place at the iconic Terrazza Martini, with its sweeping views of the Duomo, Milano Watch Week is ready to showcase 20 of the most daring independent watch brands.
Avant-garde names like MB&F, De Bethune, Urwerk, and Ressence will take center stage, but the real buzz surrounds the newly revealed 21st brand: Daniel Roth.
Moreover, in a thrilling turn, the legendary watchmaker Michel Navas, co-founder of La Fabrique du Temps, will also be there to host an exclusive soirée.
The Motivation
More than just an excuse to marvel at the latest horological innovations, Milano Watch Week wants its attendees to experience the participating brands and their wares within a broader cultural context.
For instance, MV Agusta, the legendary motorcycle brand, will showcase its bikes, which are some of the most finely crafted in Italy. Meanwhile, TopLife Concierge provides a seamless service for guests to explore Milan in style, ensuring their stay in the city is as indulgent as the event itself.
Finally, don’t forget to check out our exclusive interview with some of the coolest guys in the watch industry and two of the co-founders of Milano Watch Week, Edoardo Armentano and Fabrizio Bonvicino, especially the ending – it’s guaranteed to leave you smiling.
