Guy Lucas de Peslouan
Guy Lucas de Peslouan is a gifted photographer and passionate about cameras and studio shoots. He appreciates discretion and can always be found wandering around behind the scenes at manufactures.
With his famous, inimitable shock of salt and pepper curls, he never goes unnoticed at horology fairs There, he hands out his business card and drags around a wheelie laden with his most impressive books, which will inexorably open the doors to the workshops of independent watchmakers and the caverns of luxury jewelers. His bibliography – a veritable reference today – covers various subjects and is sprinkled with sublime titles such as Reflet d’Eternité, from 2005, or Le Temps Poétique for Van Cleef & Arpels in 2009, La Beauté en Voyage for Hermès in 2002, and Capture de l’Eclat for Boucheron in 2004.
He has collaborated with leading manufactures, such as A. Lange & Söhne and Audemars Piguet – for which he published a book about watch finishing. He also worked with Richard Mille, a fan of de Peslouan's fresh approach. He then went on seamlessly to work with independent watchmakers such as R. W. Smith, Kari Voutilainen or Peter Speake-Marin.
Other increasingly popular brands are drawing on his talents like de Bethune. And, to top it all off, he has just signed on for a second collaboration with Boucheron.
