The Full List Of Winning Watches From The 2022 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG)

Eagerly awaited each year by watchmaking professionals and enthusiasts, the 22nd awards ceremony of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, poetically hosted by Edouard Baer, was held today in Geneva’s Théâtre du Léman and the results are in!

By Watchonista

Every Fall, the watch industry gathers to recognize the best of our industry. Winning a GPHG award is like winning an Academy Award, it’s a true honor and the subsequent side effects of winning can be astounding. For a young independent brand or even mega-watchmaking house, having a GPHG award in your display case can help to even further ignite interest and conversation. Continuing our ninth year as partner of GPHG, Watchonista was present in Geneva to witness the nights festivities.

The GPHG Academy - regrouping 650 key figures in the profession worldwide - and the 2022 Jury chaired by Nick Foulkes saluted watchmaking excellence and expertise by attributing 21 prizes including the famous “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix “best-in-show” distinction. Last year, the “Aiguille d’Or” went to the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar. This year, the highly coveted “Aiguille d’Or” went to the MB&F Legacy Machine Sequential Evo.
