Omega Constellation Observatory

The Constellation Observatory marks a defining moment in OMEGA’s pursuit of precision.

This 39.4 mm polished-brushed model in 950 platinum-gold features the distinctive faceted “dog-leg” lugs accompanied by a bezel with clear-cut facets. It is presented on a dark grey leather strap with golden scalelines on polished buckle.

The “Pie-Pan” dial is a reminiscent of the original 1952 Constellation with dodecagonal facets, with applied OMEGA logo and Constellation star. The 950 platinum-gold PVD coated with platinum in light yellow hue dial is presented with sun-brushed centre and brushed facets with 8 matte hand-guillochégrooves. The revamped kite-form indexes are fully diamond-polished, matched with diamond-polished dauphine hands, crafted from 18K white gold PVD coated with 950 platinum-gold.

The watch is driven by OMEGA’s calibre 8915, the world’s first two-hand watch to achieve Master Chronometer certification approved by METAS. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, revealing a 18K Sedna™ Gold skeletonised rotor embellished by an applied 18K white gold medallion featuring the laser-engraved and enamelled Constellation Observatory emblem with sky in dark blue aventurine glass and dome in white opal colour. The watch is presented in a special marquetry box featuring the Constellation Observatory emblem.
