Bovet Introduces The 19Thirty First Steel Collection

The new 19Thirty collection by Bovet Fleurier is all about steel. But not only. The brand developped also a dedicated calibre used on both existing versions: the Dimier line, with the crown positioned at 3 and regular lugs, and the Fleurier one with the crown at 12 and including the Amadeo One-Clic convertible strap system. It is the first time Mr. Pascal Raffy, Owner and CEO of the brand, introduces steel for the cases. Harder to manufacture than gold, the result is here impressive because of the quality of the execution considering the shapes of the case, with curves on the caseband for instance, and other details that increase the difficulty of the operation. The caliber 15BM04 especially created for this new collection is a manual-winding one with a superior power-reserve of 7 days. This long duration is appreciable. But what counts even more here is the very soft and confortable feeling when turning the crown to give the energy to the calibre. The 19Thirty collection is a step forward and a smart extension of Bovet’s catalogue as it brings new looking and thinner models. It lowers also the access to Bovet’s watches’ world as the 19Thirty models are the most affordable with a starting price announced at about 16’000 CHF.
