Since our founding in 2009, Watchonista has been dedicated to covering the world of watches. For almost a decade, we’ve brought our know-how, expertise, and unique point of view to passionate enthusiasts and collectors. 

We are pleased to announce a new step in our evolution as an international media. Starting today, we are kicking off our partnership with WEMPE US! Please join us in welcoming the renowned Fifth Avenue retailer to Watchonista!

 

What does this mean?

The iconic Fifth Avenue retailer will be animated on our platform via a unique dedicated page that will relay the very best of WEMPE US, it’s carried brands, events, and the great people working at their newly redesigned boutique. Over the next few weeks and months, stay tuned to Watchonista.com and WEMPE’s partner page as we will unveil more!

But are you selling watches?

Since our founding, we’ve maintain one very simple credo. Watchonista is NOT a selling platform. While many of our colleagues are entering the world of e-commerce, this is simply not our business. We feel by partnering with key brick and mortar retailers, we can help elevate traditional retail and bring these great names into the horological web. 

 

Connections to Collectors

At our core, Watchonista is a group of passionate ladies and gentlemen. We share our knowledge and passion with our audience and network of enthusiasts through our online magazine (Watchonista.com), collector’s events, and of course, social media. After all, Watchonista was founded by watch collectors – and to this day we continue to collaborate with passionate people around the world that simply love watches. 

Throughout our new collaboration, we will be working hand in hand with WEMPE US to provide horological awareness and education to both novice and experienced collectors. Our goal is to relay the very best of what can be found at WEMPE’s beautiful Fifth Avenue boutique.

For Watchonista, it’s important that our objectivity and voice remain true to our DNA. We don’t intend to produce derivative content that doesn’t provide value to our readers and WEMPE’s audience. 

We’ve always strived to deliver unique editorial content and our readers enjoy daily perspectives they can’t find anywhere else.
