Mick Schumacher Arrives At Richard Mille
Just ahead of his first F1 test with Ferrari, F2 star and son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher is added to Richard Mille's family of champions.
20-year-old Mike Schumacher is quickly carving his own path in the world of single seater racing. As 2018 Formula 3 champion, Schumacher enters 2019 full of promise. When your father is the most winningest driver in all of motorsport, it's safe to say you have some big shoes to fill. Yet, As a member of the Ferrari Drivers Academy, Mick adapted to this challenging environment with ease and maturity.
Ahead of his F2 debut at Bahrain, Richard Mille announced the arrival of Mick Schumacher to their family of champions. Joining Fernando Alonso, Rafael Nadal, Scott Dixon, Jean Todt, Bubba Watson, and many more. Based on the images, Mick seems right at home at Richard Mille wearing an RM016. The full extent of this partnership is unclear, but we do know that Richard Mille will be supporting Schumacher and we'll definitely be seeing Richard Mille watches on his wrist going forward.
Last year, Schumacher shocked the racing world with a dominant performance in the F3 championship, earning him the title. His hard work paid off and this year, Schumacher will make the jump to Formula 2 with Prema Racing. “Racing is constantly on my mind. Of course, my goal is Formula 1. The FIA Formula 2 Championship offers me another milestone towards my declared dream,” Schumacher said.
Schumacher has a promising career ahead of him and his performance in 2019 will be a good indicator of things to come. Richard Mille was smart to bring Schumacher on board. Who knows! Perhaps we'll see another Schumacher behind the wheel of a prancing horse very soon.
