Citizen’s Capella Collection

Let’s Go A Capella With Citizen: The New Capella Collection

Sleek, stylish, and seamlessly elegant, Citizen's Capella collection sounds a call for all the fashionista’s who love watches. Once again, the Japanese brand puts women center stage.

Thankfully nowadays, there are plenty of choices when it comes to ladies’ watches. But some are held in higher esteem than others. And that is the case with the Capella collection.

First The Heart

It is always good to be reminded that most of Citizen's watches are powered by light, whether by natural or artificial sources. For over 40 years, Citizen’s Eco-Drive Technology revolutionized the watch industry and is widely known to be the beating heart of Citizen’s collections. Also, there is something romantic about the thought of watches powered an auroral light.

As its name suggests, this technology is also very eco-friendly because, as there is no battery, there is no battery waste generated, along with its soil polluting, heavy metals consequences.

Then The Curves

On the wrist, the Citizen Capella is chic, light, and completes every lady’s look. It feels dainty and feminine. The sleek, uninterrupted design is modern and quite fashionable, and to make the case’s curves seamless, the crown is inset. Indeed it is almost invisible, letting the case shape speak for itself. The various dial options suit the timepiece perfectly, from gorgeous mother-of-pearl to a silvery-white guilloche dial. They are subtle, extremely readable, and elegant.

Not too ostentatious, the collection is available in seven different variations, one for every style or mood. My personal favorite is the two-tone steel and rose gold version, as the details are quite striking. For example, rose gold accents act as a shadow between the steel bracelet links.

Touche Finale

Citizen even found a delicate way to enhance the elegance of the Capella collection. The diamonds on each piece, whether on the dial or the oval-shaped case, feel carefully selected and each is treated to enhance its shine. Not a fan of bling? Citizen’s got you covered with yellow gold-colored version, which come without diamonds.

While it might not be the most expensive ladies' watch, it sure has a very luxurious feel to it. Also, the low price also allows you to buy more than one variation. Perhaps one for work, and another to dazzle at night while enjoying a Broadway show!

Priced from $525 to $875, you can find the Citizen Capella Collection on Citizen's website.
