Join Watchonista This Weekend At The Miami Concours
We are thrilled to announce that we’re partnering for the third annual Miami Design District Concours. THE place to be this Sunday, February 16.
While Watches & Wonders Miami may not be happening in 2020, the Miami Design District Concours is still very much on the schedule. Occurring this Sunday, February 16, the 3rd Edition of the Miami Concours will take over the Miami Design District with the most significant display of post-war autos ever assembled.
For the first time, our friends at REBELLION timepieces are participating as the primary sponsor. Expect to see a wide array of REBELLION timepieces alongside some of the world's most important collectible supercars. Miami Concours founder, John Temerian added, "I think it's incredibly exciting to be working with Rebellion. The synergy is almost like a match made in heaven. I mean, this is a Le Mans-winning, serious operation. You can obviously see their passion is parallel to our passion for cars. I think it's our synergies and our passion for luxury products and cars that's so exciting."
Watchonista’s Participation
Watchonista is partnering with Miami Concours for the 2020 edition. Our Co-Founder Alexander Friedman says, “I’m thrilled that Watchonista can participate in this year’s Miami Concours. I’ve been following John’s work for many years, and he’s done an amazing job with the Miami Concours – and what better place to host this event than the Miami Design District.”
Temerian expressed his excitement at partnering with Watchonsita, "I think our partnership with Watchonista is important because we are, essentially, building experience and an environment for these collectors. Many of these collectors, if not most, have an affinity for fine timepieces. And I think it's exciting for us to continue to grow with Watchonista. We consider them, essentially, family. We both appreciate the fine movements and the details of the cars. So, the synergy is perfect and it's an honor to be working with Watchonista and Rebellion."
About Miami Concours
The Miami Design District Concours is the brainchild of John Temerian, the founder of CURATED, a Miami based purveyor of investment-grade “blue chip” automobiles. Temerian and his team specialize in rare, exotic, and vintage supercars. Which makes Temerian the perfect steward for a show such as the Miami Design District Concours.
For one day only, the Miami Concours will take over the Miami Design District for an exceptional showing of rare supercars. Sponsored by our friends at REBELLION timepieces, The Concours Club, Pininfarina, CURATED, Watchonista, and more this is a can’t miss event.
We asked Temerian what he's most looking forward to at the 3rd Annual Miami Concours. He replied, "this year's show is really just a further testament to our passionate collectors from around the world. This year we have cars being flown in from Mexico, from some very, very passionate and enthusiastic collectors. We'll have the debut of the new De Tomaso P72 in its iconic De Tomaso blue. We'll have for the first time, three Apollos. Along with some incredible historic cars, such as an original Ferrari 250 short wheelbase.
We'll also have an incredible display of some of the most significant Pininfarina designed cars, including all of the Ferrari supercars from the 288GTO on. And then a massive display of Bugattis - an EB 110, and Veyrons."
Occurring from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm this Sunday, February 16th, the Miami Design District Concours will be on display at 39th, 40th, and 41st Street in the Miami Design District.
