Atom Moore and RedBar Crew are no strangers to Watchonista. We have enjoyed a special relationship since arriving in the US market. With last year's COUTUREtime event and Atom's unique look at Rolex's GMT novelties we are happy to help to spread the word on his unique work.

As the epicenter of New York's art scene, SoHo is the perfect location for an upcoming gallery showing by RedBar Crew's official photographer Atom Moore. Occuring April 5-8, this is a can't miss event!

Interview with Atom Moore

Prior to his exhibition, I had the opportunity to sit down with Atom. We discussed art, Basel, and what's next for RedBar Crew! Enjoy!

Josh: Hi Atom! Such a pleasure to attend what is it now, your four exhibition of watch portraits? (Counting Hong Kong, NAWCC museum, lower Manhattan show, and now WOS SoHo).

Atom: This is my fourth exhibit of Watch Portraits. In November 2016 I had my first watch only photography exhibition in NYC. The following year I created a custom exhibition for Tudor watches in Hong Kong. In 2018 I had a residency at the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA. That is where I first debuted some of the images you will see in this show at Watches of Switzerland in Soho!

Josh: Some would consider SoHo as the epicenter of New York City’s art scene, how does it feel to exhibit at Watches Of Switzerland?

Atom: I am happy to show my watch art anywhere around the world. I call New York City my home and I am humbled that I get to exhibit in the city I love.

Josh: You’ve just arrived back from Baselworld 2019, any highlights?

Atom: My highlights will be available in an article on the RedBar Group’s blog (RedBarGroup.com), Collectors’ Perspective shortly after the fair. I have been partial to the new manual winding Spring Drive models from Grand Seiko though.

Josh: Finally, what can visitors expect when visiting your show at Watches of Switzerland?

Atom: There are some new pieces I have created for this show! They are my mashup interpretations of a few very well known watches. I am excited to share them with everyone who can come see them in person. My striking Mashup prints are 36”x36” on aluminum so seeing them on display at Watches of Switzerland is going to be great! All prints will be available for sale including smaller variants that you can buy directly from me!

How to visit

Bellow you will find the official invitation for Atom Moore's upcoming Watch Portraits exhibition at Watches of Switzerland. This is an open invitation, so feel free to visit anytime at Watches of Switzerland's SoHo Boutique, located 60 Greene Street in New York City.

See You There!
