The next few days will be some of the most exciting Geneva has ever seen. Here’s a rundown of what to expect.

I attended my first Geneva auction just last year. It was a thrilling time and one that I won’t soon forget. For the 2018 edition of Geneva auction weekend, we are sure to see some thrilling watches change hands.

Over the past months, Watchonista has been busy chronicling our favorite pieces and themes of the upcoming auctions. Here’s a rundown of what we think you should pay attention to over the next few days.

Daytona Ultimatum

Phillips lot 12. Rolex ref. 6239 “The Golden Pagoda”

Sure, there’s a certain “Unicorn” in town that has everyone abuzz, but Phillips upcoming Daytona Ultimatum sale includes 31 other lots that will likely raise some eyebrows. Aurel Bacs knows how to work a room, and hot off the heels of the sale of Paul Newman’s Paul Newman, this auction is sure to set some records. Occurring May 12th at La Reserve in Geneva.

Phillips Watch Auction: Seven

Not content with the status quo, Aurel Bac is bringing another edition of Phillips' legendary watch auction. This time featuring pieces from Elvis, Robert Downey Jr, and much much, more. Occurring May 12th and 13th at La Reserve in Geneva.

We’ve covered this auction up and down, but here’s a rundown in case you missed it.
