TAG Heuer's Geneva "Time for Rebels" exhibition opened its door in grand style

On the opening day of its Geneva Exhibition "Time for Rebels", TAG Heuer held another game changing Press Conference to announce the first ever 5/10,000th of a second mechanical Chronograph.

In front of 300 guests and journalists, and webcasted on Facebook and on the brand's dedicated website, Jean-Christophe Babin announced that TAG Heuer again challenged three centuries of hairspring/balance wheel mechanical regulation conventions to create a totally new mechanical regulator. The legendary Swiss brand just unveiled a first Concept version, a 5/10,000th of a second chronograph beating at 1,000 Hz or 7,200,000 beats per hour : TAG Heuer's Mikrogirder.

TAG Heuer's "Time for Rebels" Exhibition features portraits of celebrities TAG Heuer considers Beautiful Rebels  around the world. The prints, using a lenticular device, create a unique atmosphere around the exhibition. Two masterpieces of technology and design are also showcased : McLaren Formula 1 car and a modern interpretation of a high heel designer shoe hosting TAG Heuer's Yin-Yang Fomula1, the brand's most audacious Haute-Joaillerie creation to date.

TAG Heuer's exhibition opened its doors on Monday, January 16th, 2012 and willl remain open in Halle Sécheron, Geneva, until January 19th, 7:00PM
