On the opening day of its Geneva Exhibition "Time for Rebels", TAG Heuer held another game changing Press Conference to announce the first ever 5/10,000th of a second mechanical Chronograph.
In front of 300 guests and journalists, and webcasted on Facebook and on the brand's dedicated website, Jean-Christophe Babin announced that TAG Heuer again challenged three centuries of hairspring/balance wheel mechanical regulation conventions to create a totally new mechanical regulator. The legendary Swiss brand just unveiled a first Concept version, a 5/10,000th of a second chronograph beating at 1,000 Hz or 7,200,000 beats per hour : TAG Heuer's Mikrogirder.
TAG Heuer's "Time for Rebels" Exhibition features portraits of celebrities TAG Heuer considers Beautiful Rebels around the world. The prints, using a lenticular device, create a unique atmosphere around the exhibition. Two masterpieces of technology and design are also showcased : McLaren Formula 1 car and a modern interpretation of a high heel designer shoe hosting TAG Heuer's Yin-Yang Fomula1, the brand's most audacious Haute-Joaillerie creation to date.
TAG Heuer's exhibition opened its doors on Monday, January 16th, 2012 and willl remain open in Halle Sécheron, Geneva, until January 19th, 7:00PM
