When Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey first decided to develop a high performance tourbillon regulator, they paid homage to its famous inventor, Abraham Louis Breguet, by making this decisive technical advancement.
An inclined tourbillon rotating inside another tourbillon in this manner averages out errors induced by the force of gravity on the balance. The construction allows for superior chronometric performance with a minimum volume/maximum balance diameter ratio.
The Double Tourbillon 30° Secret was a unique limited edition of just 11 pieces in white gold and is sold out.
